CENIZA

Ceniza is a 31 year old Argentine Thoroughbred. She has been at MMFS since June 2022. Before coming to MMFS, Ceniza had an impressive career as a Polo horse with the Michigan State University Polo Club. She spent the end of her career teaching other horses the tricks of the trade. When it was time for her to retire at 31, MMFS was happy to give her a comfortable home for some much-deserved rest.

Ceniza means "ash" in Spanish, a tribute to her ash colored fur. Ceniza is very active and you can catch her running around the pasture. She is also a favorite of our sheep, who follow her and lay by her when they are in her pasture! She also loves spending time with her roommate, Joe.
