D

D was the queen of MMFS! She was so sweet and gentle but knew how to gracefully get a treat (or two) out of you. She loved spending time with her companion Symba, especially out in the pasture grazing. D was 36 years old when she left us and was at MMFS for about three years before her passing in June 2023. She had come from a loving family but had previously been surrendered to another horse haven due to the family's inability to care for her in their old age. We miss D so very much.
