Chief

Chief is a 32-year-old Spotted Saddlebred. He arrived to MMFS in Fall of 2022. Before coming to the sanctuary, Chief spent his days at the Equine Center for Learning (formerly known as the Beekman Therapeutic Riding Center). Chief had developed a tumor in his eye that sadly resulted in his eye being removed, but it hasn't slowed him down! He quickly has become a fan-favorite and wins over the heart of everyone that he meets. He was a wonderful addition to the sanctuary after he retired from the Equine Center for Learning.

Chief is known to be a master schmoozer, expert treat-finder (beware of pocket snacks), and occasional escape artist.
